Baja life
If the idea of living in a place with endless outdoor activities appeals to you, if surfing or learning how, if mountain biking on endless backroads sounds good, this might be the right place for you. Less touristy than Cabo and still a hidden gem, Cerritos Beach between Cabo and Todos Santos has great waves for surfing as well as it’s safe for swimming (one of the few beaches in the area where it's safe to swim).
Nearby Todos Santos has been named a Mexican "Pueblo Mágico" with its charming atmosphere and many resident artists. And right in between, Pescadero has a little micro-climate area and receive more water which allows for a great farm to table experience, fresh seafood and organic fruits and vegetables markets. If morning or late afternoon walks on a secluded beach with whales breaching just offshore is your thing, San Pedrito beach will be your secret spot.
The laidback low-key vibe here draws surfers from all over the world. Nearby or even on the beach, some great options to enjoy a local margarita or fresh mango smoothies or eat one of the best tacos in baja at Barracuda Cantina.
